Hampstead Fine Arts College Continuing Education was launched in 2021, with a series of evening classes, summer courses and study trips.
Evening Courses have included Life Drawing, Weaving, Renaissance History and Art History Courses from 17th Century to the present Day.

Course Tutors
Life Drawing: Beginners to Professionals
Desmond Healy is a painter and printmaker who studied fine art at Newcastle University and the Royal College of Art, London. He has taught life drawing and portrait painting at all levels from A-level to degree and adult continuing education. He was awarded the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Gold medal and Ondaatje prize for portraiture and is an associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. Desmond works at Thames-side studios in Woolwich and has exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and the Royal Academy Summer exhibition multiple times.
Art History
Candida Cave is the Head of Fine Arts Continuing Education and Founder of Fine Arts College. She regularly lectures at the National Gallery, the V & A and the British Institute in Florence. She has led European study tours in Paris, Florence, Rome, Venice, Berlin, Vienna and Madrid. Candida studied Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford, and completed her MA in History of Art at the University of Buckingham.
Lekha Menon is Director of Fine Arts Continuing Education. She has been teaching History of Art, Modern History and Humanities for over 20 years, at undergraduate, postgraduate and higher education levels. Her doctorate was focused on contemporary art, and she has written many academic papers on various aspects of the history of Modernism. She currently teaches History of Art and Classical Civilisation at Fine Arts College.
