Admission to Hampstead Fine Arts follows a different process depending on whether you are applying to study for Year 9, GCSE, A Level or our Portfolio course:
Interviews for the new academic year commence in October however applications are welcome at any point in the year.
Three Open Days are held each year, one in each of the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. Dates are announced in advance on our website. Please contact the College to book a place if you would like to attend. For the Autumn and Spring term Open Days, parents and students may book for one of two sessions held at 2.30 pm and 5 pm. The Summer term Open Day is held at 11 am. The Open Days consist of a talk from the Principal, followed by a tour of the College and the opportunity to speak to subject tutors.
Parents and their son or daughter may also make an appointment to visit the College informally and to be shown around the classrooms and studios that interest them.
Formal interviews are held with the Principal or Head from the beginning of October for entry to all year groups in the following academic year. Interviews continue all year but as we are over-subscribed an early application is advised to secure a place and to ensure the widest choice of subject options.
After interview, references will be taken up and an offer of a place may be made.
Fine Arts College holds a licence to sponsor visas for international students. Fine Arts College offers ‘Taster Courses’ at both GCSE and A level International Students, of one term in length. These can be taken in the autumn term and if desired, can then feed seamlessly into the remainder of the GCSE or A level course.
Apply to Fine Arts College by filling in the application form.
