Welcome from the Principal and Head

Welcome to Hampstead Fine Arts College.
At HFA, we believe that students flourish when they are given the freedom to discover who they are, what they are capable of and where their talents might take them. Our students are individuals, and we celebrate that. They come to us with different interests, ambitions and ways of learning, but they share a desire to be challenged, encouraged and understood.
We offer something a little different from a traditional school environment. Our approach is deliberately personal and ambitious, giving students the space to develop academically while also pursuing the creative interests that matter to them. We want them to enjoy learning, to be curious and to have the confidence to think independently.
The atmosphere at HFA is one of openness, mutual respect and genuine encouragement. Students build strong relationships with one another and with their tutors, and there is a real sense of community across the College. It is a place where students can be themselves, while being supported to become the very best version of themselves.
For many of our students, joining HFA is an important step towards adulthood. We see our role as helping them make that transition with confidence – developing not only their academic knowledge and creative abilities, but also the independence, resilience and self-belief they will need beyond College.
I hope that as you explore our website, you get a sense of what makes Hampstead Fine Arts College such a special place. Most importantly, I hope you can imagine yourself – or your child – here.
