The Pastoral

Beyond the academic, the pastoral programme at the School fosters personal development through the General Studies courses, with talks from numerous outside speakers including lawyers, members of the police, specialists in drug abuse, and experts in personal development.

We run weekly afternoon sports and activities, including team sports like football and netball, as well as individual activities including yoga and personal training. Pupils in Year 9 have the opportunity of completing the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award and the Arts Award in the year preceding GCSEs.

We live in a very exciting capital city and we help our pupils to discover and make the most of it, with visits to galleries, museums, theatre, and musical events.

Throughout the school, pupils are offered tuition in drama, music, and singing by professional experts, enabling them to take LAMDA and Guildhall examinations.

Each year we organise study trips in the UK and a number of European cultural cities.
