Terri Murray

Terri earned her BA at New York University’s TISCH School of the Arts, majoring in Film and Television. Following graduation she founded her own digital video production company, Blacksheep DV Productions, producing documentaries and industrial videos.  Terri also read Philosophy and Theology at Heythrop College, University of London, where she later earned a Masters in Theology.  Terri has taught a range of courses (including A level Philosophy, Introduction to Critical Reasoning and History of Western Philosophy) at The City Literary Institute and the Mary Ward Centre, in London. She is a regular contributor to Philosophy Now magazine and has blogged for The New Humanist and Sp!ked Review. Terri earned her PhD in Philosophy from Oxford Brookes University in 2012, and has published two books: Feminist Film Studies: A Teacher’s Guide, and Thinking Straight About Being Gay: Why it Matters if We’re Born That Way. Terri joined Fine Arts College in 2012 and has taught Philosophy and Religious Education and now teaches Media & Film studies. Terri became a Director of Studies in 2014.
