GCSE Dyslexia and Dyspraxia Specialist Support

Anita George is a qualified Specialist Teacher of Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia) and a qualified physiotherapist. She is a member of the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (Patoss) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (MCSP). In addition to class teaching she has many years experience of supporting individual pupils with learning and neurological difficulties (Dyspraxia).
She offers freelance assessment and tutoring to GCSE students with dyslexia on a consultancy basis at 24 Lambolle Place NW3 4PG.

Assessment

Following liaison with the student, parents and teachers a two hour in-depth assessment is carried out to inform a comprehensive individual teaching programme. A detailed written report is produced for parents and teachers.

Tutoring

A twelve hour multi-sensory programme is devised to support the identified needs of the student.
The programme is evaluated regularly and written reports are produced incorporating feedback from the student, parents and teachers.

Sessions can be arranged either during or after the school day.

Fees

Initial assessment (2 hours) - £100.00

One-to-one specialist teaching - £40 per hour
