Shilpa is a an intrepid traveller and the host of Globe Trekker also known as Pilot Guides. She has a passion for the extraordinary, reporting from far-flung corners of the globe for Pilot Guides as well as British BBC1's Summer Holiday.

So far she's journeyed to the heart of the Philippines, Spain, Bali, Sulawesi, Tobago, Kenya, and Australia. She also took part in ‘Stormchasing’ for BBC1's Twister series, producing an unforgettable TV experience.

Her understanding of the Alternative and the New Age qualified her as a reporter for DJ Simon Mayo's TV show dedicated to turn-of the century madness, to BBC1's The Big End, where she conducted some amazing interviews with real-life vampires.

Shilpa's natural, honest and sincere style of communicating has involved her as a presenter for Channels 4's Pl@net.com. Designed to save the environment, Shilpa could be seen inspiring and empowering the next generation to make a difference by reporting from places as diverse as the sewers of London to the floodplains of Bangladesh.
