Kate Bland
Radio Producer

Kate is a producer for one of the countries most respected independent radio production companies Just Radio. She has an unbroken record for making high quality programmes for BBC Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4 and the World Service. Her radio productions have won three Sony Gold awards, most recently for Best Feature for Malcolm McLaren's Life and Times in LA: A Radio Movie for BBC Radio 2. It was described by Sony as ‘a brilliant, innovative, atmospheric feature.’ Notable other works of Kate’s include Black on Black and Five Gardens Of Spain: The Alhambra and Stamp of Approval for BBC Radio 4.

Kate has numerous forthcoming productions for BBC Radio. These include a six part series called The Novel That Changed My Life in which well known people, such as Cherie Blair, choose a book that has influenced them in some way and James Bond: The Last Englishman exploring the historical context of James Bond in the Britain of the 1950s and 1960s.
