GCSE Dyslexia and Dyspraxia Specialist Support
Sarah Paterson is an experienced qualified teacher and Specialist Teacher of Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia). She is a member of the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (Patoss).
She offers freelance one-to-one support of dyslexic A-Level students on a peripatetic basis at 24 Lambolle Place NW3 4PG.
Support sessions are tailor-made to individual students' needs through the following programme:- Initial meeting and interview with student and parents
- Diagnostic assessment to identify specific literacy problems
- A detailed report and planning of specific targets to improve literacy deficits through a prescriptive, multi-sensory approach
- A tailor-made six to twelve week rolling programme of specialised dyslexia support to support the curriculum needs of individual students
- Regular liaison with subject tutors for feedback and recommendations for individual students to support their continued progress in their subjects
- Regular, comprehensive reports to parents on students' progress on the programme
- Sessions to fit in with students' weekly timetable – so no after-school hours
Fees
Initial diagnostic assessment - £100.00
One-to-one specialist teaching - £40 per hour.
Full diagnostic testing and report for Access Arrangements can be arranged on a private basis.
