This is a brilliant A Level for all students with a genuine interest in theatre. The approach to all texts studied is practical and from the perspective of potential performers, designers and directors. Writing skills are developed from practical experience. We study the whole process of interpreting and creating theatre from exploring works by established writers and practitioners and applying these skills to students’ own productions. This course also aims to develop critical skills to enable students to become informed members of an audience.
GCSE Drama is an advantage but not essential.
