Examination Board: AQA
Psychology is the study of the human mind and human behaviour. It is an academic A-level but also involves some practical work at A2 level.
Psychology is a ‘social science’. In practical terms, this means that we largely spend our time studying scientific experiments conducted by qualified psychologists. However, a scientific background is not necessary to succeed at this subject. We study in small groups by reading, writing essays, discussing the work, and conducting our own research.
