The style of teaching English Literature at Fine Arts College is designed to maximise the students’ enjoyment and success in the subject. In small groups, students are encouraged to talk about literary issues, such as character and themes, writers’ use of language and social, cultural and historical background. We study novels, short stories, poetry and drama, regularly visiting the theatre.
