Edexcel Board

This is a one year course assessed by two examinations (60%) and Coursework: speaking and listening (20%) and written (20%).

Students study a range of personal and imaginative writing, texts from different cultures and a Shakespeare play. They then submit coursework based on their reading and class discussions.

This is taught in conjunction with GCSE English Literature and these two courses prepare students for A level English Literature offered in the Sixth Form.
